About us
Andy Grant and Stephanie Henderson-Grant are co-owners of the business, sharing the day to day running and management of the property Louis, Cecille and Ursula are also an integral part of our team, providing help in all manner of tasks, large and small.
We are honoured to work the land of Waitaha – Canterbury. We value this land and environment, and aim to leave it in great shape for future generations. From soil, to grape, to bottle, our wines are humbly created right here in Waitaha – part of the responsibility we have for the land now includes a programme of planting natives in our surrounding environment, in an effort to improve the habitat for native species.
The entire ethos behind Ataahua Wines is to offer you something that is far from pretentious, but represents the passion and effort we put into the craft of producing fine wine.
The principles of Kaitiakitanga influence our commitment to this – the guardianship, protection and preservation of the land we are so fortunate to create Ataahua Wines from.
